Quinton outdoors
a little more about me

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Quinton - it's nice to meet you.

Originally from Hong Kong and Australia, I now reside in Los Angeles, where I study Computational Biology and Finance at USC.

I spent my adolescence at United World College, a boarding school where I studied alongside peers from more than 80 countries. It was this experience which catalyzed my curiousity about the world. For my graduation trip, I knew that I wanted to see my friends in their home countries; I ran my own tutoring practice, where I saved enough to travel to 47 countries. I've hitchhiked across California, been on Spain's highest peak, and tried Panipuri in India. On every trip, I learn voraciously through the conversations I have. I've met mentors at McDonalds and gotten the best advice of my life from the man who runs my local kebab shop.

I am passionate about exploring and finding unconventional ways to make things happen. My foray into entrepreneurship began in middle school, where I resold chocolate bars and stickerpacks on the playground to make my own money (because I wanted to buy minecraft). From building a nonprofit to leading outdoor trips for high schoolers and fellow college students, I always seek to inspire curiosity and bring people together through the things I create.

I think that's enough about me! I would love to have a conversation with you - please feel free to reach out below:
